CHO-MASK II Conductive Foil Tape with Peel-Off Mask for Cabinet Painting Operations
Outdoor electronics cabinets and enclosures must withstand many elements, protecting and grounding the mission-critical electronics within. CHO-MASK II conductive foil tape, paired with conductive elastomer gasketing, provides a durable, anti-corrosion solution to EMI shielding and environmental sealing.
Proven, Flexible Conductive Adhesive
What is CHO-MASK II Conductive Foil Tape?
CHO-MASK II tape is specifically designed to be applied to clean metal frame, door and panel surfaces where electrical continuity is required. Available in both Standard Temperature (ST) and High Temperature (HT) versions to provide options for water-based and solvent-based paint applications, the CHO-MASK II family of EMI foil tapes provides a conductive non-corroding surface on painted metal electronic enclosures.
A Suite of EMI Shielding Solutions
Why Use CHO-MASK II Conductive Foil Tape?
CHO-MASK II tape ensured a clean, electrically continuous surface to place EMI gaskets. When used together, these products provide effective EMI shielding performance.
Benefits of CHO-MASK II Conductive Foil Tape
Electrically Conductive Foil Tape
- More cost-effective and environmentally friendly than plating and coating methods
- Peel-off mask can be removed easily at any time, regardless of the temperature
- Recessed edges ensure paint overlap and corrosion protection
- Solvent- and chemical-resistant
- Maintains performance after 10,000 door-closure cycles
- Passes MIL-STD-810 salt fog testing as well as MIL-T-47012 and MIL-T-10727
- Pressure-sensitive adhesive contains highly stable, conductive particles for long-term reliability

Designed for Powder-Coating Painting Operations
Conductive Foil Tape for Outdoor Cabinets
CHO-MASK II is an excellent fit for powder-coating painting operations, complementing the weather- and physical-resistant coating with a scratch- and abrasion-resistant conductive adhesive that prevents debris from getting under it.
After painting, the peel-off mask is easily removed, allowing the paint to seal both edges of the foil layer. The foil imparts a clean, electrically conductive path that connects the panel, an EMI gasket, and the cabinet frame, providing grounding points within the enclosure.
Safeguarding EV Charging Stations
Conductive Foil Tape for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Electric vehicle charging is a rapidly expanding part of global infrastructure construction. While charging stations are manufactured by many different companies with various shapes, sizes, and capabilities, all require the ability to shield electronics from electromagnetic interference and environmental conditions.
CHO-MASK II tape provides a corrosion-resistant, electrical grounding path for conductive elastomer gaskets in order to provide shielding AND sealing for charging stations that are expected to operate reliably for many years with minimal maintenance.
The Difference of Tin
CHO-MASK II tapes are manufactured with a recessed polyester paint masking film covering a layer of either 1 oz. (28.4g) or 2 oz. (56.7g) tin copper foil, which provides additional protection against corrosion. The back of the foil features a conductive pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA).
We're Focused on Quality
Quality and consistency of every part is paramount to ensuring they do their job time after time, day after day. And the people who count on our parts and materials need to rest assured that they are functioning properly, freeing the operators or beneficiaries to do other tasks or simply live their lives worry-free.
