ChoShield 2000 Series - Reformulation
Dear Valued Customer,
Due to unanticipated regulatory developments, a raw material used to make CHO-SHIELD 2000 Series coatings has been abruptly discontinued by the manufacturer.
This Force Majeure situation has forced Parker to re-formulate the following CHO-SHIELD 2000 series coatings:
- CHO-SHIELD 2001
- CHO-SHIELD 2002
- CHO-SHIELD 2003

In Summary, the test report found the re-formulated material to have equivalent performance to the current formulation from both an application and performance standpoint.
Parker and JHC understand the challenge of re-qualifying a conductive coating like the CHO-SHIELD 2000 series coatings in such a short period of time should this be necessary.
We will work our customers’ engineering teams to provide any data of the re-formulated CHO-SHIELD 2000 series coatings to help accelerate the qualification process.
